By the way, this product itself is pretty useless, why can't you just use a normal pair of scissors? (Which you would probably have to do anyway to open that stupid package...)
But it must be a good product, because it's "As seen on TV".
Why does a Beatle cross the road?

Last week in London, the Beatles were spotted crossing Abbey Road (again).
They were filming a recreation of the famous Abbey Road album cover for the new series of Beatles biopics directed by Sam Mendes.
The scene reportedly involved "approximately 80 extras and some vintage vehicles."
Originally, the Westminster Council would not allow filming to take place at the famous crossing, but it was later confirmed that they had reversed their decision.
The Beatles - A Four-Film Cinematic Event, will tell the band's story from each member's point of view.
The films, starring Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, are scheduled to be released simultaneously in theaters in April, 2028.

Suspicious Minds

At a charity event in Dunedin, New Zealand, an Elvis Presley record, autographed by Elvis himself, was one of about 20 records up for auction.
Only one problem. The album, Elvis Sings Country Favourites, was released in 1985, eight years after Presley's death in 1977.
After coming across the album while setting up for the event, volunteers attempted to authenticate the signature when they learned the album's release date. The album was then placed among the $1 bins at the sale.

But, I think the auction organizers missed a very important point. As everyone knows, some fans believe Elvis was still alive, and he has been sighted alive many times since the official date of his death.
So, not only is it very possible that The King actually signed this album eight years after he "died", the existence of this signed album actually proves that Elvis was still alive, and had been living for a time somewhere in New Zealand!
If I was in New Zealand, I would have snapped up that $1 bargain!
As for whether or not Elvis is still alive, he was born in 1935, making him 91 years old, so even if he was still alive, he'd probably be dead.

A connection between the Swedish Prime Minister and IKEA is a popular internet rumor and running joke. There is no truth to the claim that the CEO of IKEA was elected as Sweden's head of government.
IKEA is an independently owned, privately held multinational corporation, and Sweden's head of government is decided via national parliamentary elections.

This is a real headline from Google News yesterday:
On Tuesday, the Trump Administration through the FCC banned new humanoid and quadruped robot imports from foreign manufacturers, saying they pose "unacceptable risks" to US national security.
I warned about this in a recent blog post and now it seems to be happening for real.

Our government has finally stepped up to state these robots are going too far. They fear these Chinese humanoid robots will collect data and send it back to China, virtually spying on us.
In addition, this week Delta and United Airlines have banned humanoid and animal robots from their flights, citing safety concerns over their large lithium-ion batteries, and how they pose additional challenges when it comes to emergency procedures and evacuations if the robots are located in the passenger area.
Although humanoid robots remain rare outside laboratories and factories, numerous companies are developing the technology, with robot evangelists such as Elon Musk predicting that they will eventually become common.
Isaac Asimov wrote about the human fear and distrust of humanoid robots in the 50s, and now that fear is becoming a reality.
First, spying on us. What's next? What's to prevent these robots from being aggressive towards human beings upon instructions from their foreign builders?
All this from a potentially world-dominating power that we know does not have our best interests at heart. AI is progressing too fast and finally the US government and some private companies are taking some kind of preventative action. But will it be too little too late?
